Ransomware protection is been a challenge for many organizations. As we venture in this field, We are looking for a research-oriented, results-driven and goal-oriented individual, to join our product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of MalAid’s detection solution, conduct research of evasion techniques and attack surfaces, reverse-engineer malware, and more. The role involves being actively involved with fellow researchers, data scientists, development and implementation teams.

What You’ll Do,
• Research malware behavior and evasion techniques across all stages of the malware kill chain from exploitation and infection to impact
• Design and develop mechanisms to detect suspicious and malicious activity in run-time on the OS for future product features
• Perform research of attack surfaces and OS components for exploitation and publication
• Write technical summaries, white papers, and blogs based on your research and findings
• Work with other teams in research, development, and product groups
Requirements:
• Expert in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Deep learning techniques.
• Expertise in OS internals and components in Windows, Linux, MacOS, PLC, IoT’s
• Hands-on experience in static and dynamic malware analysis, including reverse-engineering (x86/x64) and other relevant tools and methods (OllyDBG, WinDBG, IDA, Cuckoo Sandbox etc.)
• Practical development experience in C/C++ for malware or security components (e.g., implementing hooking) and Python
• knowledge of STIX, OpenIOC, OpenTAXII, etc.
• PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
